Scalibor Protector Collar Dog for prevention and control of infestation of ticks, exotic parasites as sandflies and heartworm mosquitoes in dogs from the age of 7 weeks.
In recent years there has been a clear increase in the number of ticks and tick-borne diseases in humans and animals. The most well-known disorders in dog are Lyme disease and Babesiosis, diseases caused by blood parasites transmitted by ticks.
It is not surprising that this collar is often worn by dogs on trips or holidays to warmer places such as Southern Europe. The Scalibor Protector Collar is the only collar that protects against those parasites for up to 6 months. The collar is waterproof and odorless, but it's better to take it off before swimming as the active substance deltamethrin in the collar is harmful to fish and other aquatic organisms.
Two sizes available: a collar of 48 cm length for small/medium dogs and a collar of 65 cm length for larger dogs. The remaining part of the collar can be cut off 5 cm from the buckle.
Alternative if not available: Seresto Collar Dog
