The active ingredient of Frontline Spot-On Cat is Fipronil, it kills fleas within a day after administration and prevents a flea infestation on your cat for 5 weeks. It kills ticks and has a repellent effect against ticks up to 4 weeks (depending on the species of tick). It can also be used for treatment of infections with biting lice.
Drops applied to the neck (spot-on).
Frontline Spon-On Cat pipette is available as a 4-pack and a 6-pack.
It is important to treat all animals in the house against fleas. In case of a flea infestation, or the existing risk of a flea infestation, it is also necessary to treat the infected environment, so that you kill larvae and all adult fleas in the house. Indoor-X Spray is a suitable product for this.
Fleas are intermediate hosts of the dog tapeworm Dipylidium Caninum. This tapeworm can be transmitted by swallowing a flea by dogs and cats. This is one of the reasons why veterinarians advise regularly deworming your pets. It is wise to deworm all adult cats up to 4 times a year depending on the risk of infection.
